On the importance of trust in the public and private sectors cooperation

Nelt’s Executive Director for the Serbian Market, Robert Jenovai, spoke at the conference of the Regional AEO Association organized by the German Development Agency (GIZ) about the importance of the status of Authorized Business Entity (AEO) and the importance of trust in the public and private sectors cooperation.

Robert emphasized the importance of this dialogue for improving cooperation, the necessity of introducing innovative solutions, and identifying challenges.

“At the core of the AEO status is a question of trust. Nelt’s three decades of business are based on the trust we build by introducing best practices, maintaining high business standards, and open communication with employees, clients in logistics, principal clients in distribution, and institutions in all territories where we operate,” he said.

Obtaining the AEO status, he believes, is the result of our company’s long-term partnership with the customs authorities, which has made us recognized by state institutions as a reliable partner.

“The main advantages that this status provides us reflect in customs procedure simplifications, fewer physical inspections, and priority inspection of shipments. This speeds up customs procedures, shortens transportation time, reduces costs, and more effectively resolves client requests and improves the service we provide,” Robert said in his speech.

The conference of the Regional AEO Association is conceived as a conversation between the public and private sectors on the improvement of the AEO program in the region, acceptance of the culture of digital data, increased transparency, and strengthening of partnerships.
