Marija Taleska Velkovski Appointed Regional Director of Nelt Pharmaceuticals

Marija Taleska Velkovski has joined Nelt as Regional Director of Nelt Pharmaceuticals. In this role, she will be responsible for developing and leading the business across the Adria region, connecting teams, expertise and business priorities through a shared regional approach.

Marija brings more than 24 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, gained across the Western Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Throughout her career, she has managed diverse pharmaceutical portfolios, including innovative, biosimilar, generic and over-the-counter medicines.

She has extensive experience in establishing operations in new markets, developing strategic partnerships and managing complex regulatory processes, tenders and medicine reimbursement systems. She has worked in international and matrix organisations, aligning business priorities across different markets and collaborating with senior leadership.

In her new role, Marija will focus on developing Nelt Pharmaceuticals’ regional strategy, driving sustainable growth, strengthening strategic partnerships and improving business performance. Her responsibilities will also include further connecting the markets within the Nelt Adria region and facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experience and capabilities that can contribute to business development.
