Nelt has been operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2006, developing an extensive distribution and logistics network across the market.

Headquartered in East Sarajevo, the company operates regional distribution centres in Banja Luka and Bijeljina and cross-dock locations in Mostar and Bihać. This infrastructure enables broad market coverage and efficient distribution across different regions of the country.

Nelt BiH Through 20 Years

1999. Orbitko was established in Trebinje as a sub-distributor of confectionery and tobacco products. The company would later evolve into Nelt BiH.

2006. The partnership with Nelt Co. began, marking the start of Nelt’s business development in the Bosnia and Herzegovina market.

2010. The company changed its name to Nelt d.o.o., and its headquarters were relocated to East Sarajevo.

2013. HACCP certification was introduced, while Nelt BiH received its first Most Desirable Employer award.

2015. A new warehouse was opened in Bijeljina, further expanding the company’s distribution and logistics capacities.

2019. A new warehouse facility was opened in East Sarajevo as part of a €4 million investment. The company’s capacities increased to more than 11,000 m² of warehouse space and 3,400 m² of office space.

2023. Nelt BiH received AEO certification, gaining the status of an Authorized Economic Operator.

2024. Suzana Sikimić took over as Executive Director of Nelt BiH, while Goran Cerovina, previously Executive Director of Nelt BiH, became Executive Vice President of Nelt Group for the Adria markets.

2024-2025. The Regional Distribution Center in Bijeljina was expanded through an investment worth €1.6 million. The expansion added 2,065 m² of space and 2,196 pallet positions.

2026. Nelt celebrates 20 years of operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company generates annual net revenue of BAM 415 million, employs more than 500 people, and operates 14,200 m² of warehouse space. In its anniversary year, Nelt BiH received three recognitions – Most Desirable Employer in the Distribution Sector, Most Inclusive Company, and Family-Friendly Company in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Today, Nelt BiH’s network comprises its headquarters in East Sarajevo, regional distribution centers in Banja Luka and Bijeljina, as well as cross-dock locations in Mostar and Bihać. Its extensive distribution and logistics network ensures nationwide coverage across Bosnia and Herzegovina and provides support to partners at the national level.
