Strategic function development as a key driver of Ascend 2030 goals
The second part of the Ascend Base Camp I event was dedicated to strategic functions within Nelt Group, with presentations delivered by Bojana Mucić, Chief Human Resources Officer, Milan Bukorović, Chief Technology Officer, Vladimir Marković, Director of Accounting and Tax, and Jasmina Topalović, Director of FP&A and Strategic Planning.
Milan Bukorović presented the key IT priorities for the upcoming period, focusing on strengthening system security and resilience, further automation and the implementation of AI solutions, as well as the continued digitalization of operations. Key projects include the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and process improvements through automation and digital tools, supporting more efficient growth and business stability.
Vladimir Marković and Jasmina Topalović provided an overview of financial results and performance indicators from the previous year, highlighting strong resource management. The focus going forward will be on further people development, digitalization, and the simplification and optimization of financial processes, with the aim of making operations more efficient and better prepared for growth.
Bojana Mucić presented HR initiatives, with a strong focus on employee development. In the previous year, €6 million was invested in salaries, while internal communication systems such as InfoNelt were implemented to improve employee connectivity and information flow. A career website covering all markets and business units was also developed. As a priority, she highlighted the creation of a motivating and supportive work environment that enables competency growth and team development.
This segment clearly demonstrated that the strategic development of functions is key to achieving Ascend 2030 goals, as strengthening people, technology, and financial discipline directly contributes to the accelerated and sustainable growth of Nelt Group.
