Nelt Representatives Speak at the 38th Kopaonik Business Forum
This year’s forum gathered a large number of participants from the business sector
Nebojša Šaponjić, Founder and Co-owner of Nelt Group, Marko Cilić, Acting CEO of Nelt Group, and Marko Milanković, Corporate Communications Director at Nelt Group, participated in the 38th Kopaonik Business Forum, organized by the Serbian Association of Economists.
The central theme of this year’s forum was “Industrial Policy in the Function of Long-term and Sustainable Development of Serbia”, accompanied by numerous panel discussions dedicated to competitiveness, investments, innovation, and the role of companies in building a sustainable economy.
Representatives of Nelt Group took part in discussions on market perspectives, the role of logistics and distribution in modern supply chains, as well as the importance of strategic partnerships and responsible business practices.

Nebojša Šaponjić, spoke at the panel “Moving Forward Together: Regional Integration of the Western Balkans,” where he compared the conditions in which Nelt operates across different markets, presented proposals for improving interregional cooperation, and reflected on the provisions of the Open Balkan initiative that enable greater mobility of Nelt employees across markets, contributing to their development as well as the company’s progress.


Marko Cilić spoke at the panel discussion “The Serbian Economy from the Perspective of Investors,” highlighting predictability as a key benefit of any investment cycle. He noted that Nelt Group has launched an investment cycle worth more than €400 million through 2030, focused on logistics, automation, digitalization, and acquisitions in EU and regional markets.

At the panel “An Economy Fit for Children,” Marko Milanković emphasized the importance of the partnership between UNICEF and Nelt Group through a program that will empower 30,000 children in four countries with the knowledge and competencies needed for a confident and informed step into the future.

The four-day event brought together a large number of participants from the business sector, institutions, international organizations, and the academic community, reaffirming the importance of dialogue and the exchange of experience for the further development of the economy.
