Nelt sponsors the 10th International Rail Belgrade 2023 Conference

Nelt sponsored the 10^th international conference ICROMA – Rail Belgrade 2023, which was organized by the Belgrade University Transportation Faculty at the end of April.

Conference participants had the opportunity to visit our booth and learn about Nelt’s business and services we offer in the logistics field.

Our colleague Ivan Milićević participated in the panel discussion “Opportunities and challenges of intermodal and rail freight transport in the Western Balkans,” where he presented the latest trends in logistics, as well as new services offered by Nelt in this domain.

At the end of the conference, twenty participants visited our CDLC in Dobanovci.

Professors and associates from all over the world were firstly greeted by Robert Jenovai, executive director for the Serbian market, while Vuk Mijanović, supply chain and logistics services development manager and Ivan Milićević, manager for innovation and new business development in logistics spoke about achievements and current projects in the field of intermodality.

Plans for the following period were also presented in an interactive conversation, emphasizing the opening of a new intermodal terminal in Kruševac.

Along with a short presentation about Nelt Group’s business activities and a new logistics film, the attendees also tasted the products of Nelt’s brands.

The visit ended with a tour of the intermodal terminal and an exchange of expert opinions about railways in Europe and the world.

This conference is organized under the auspices of the International Association IAROR, which stimulates innovative theoretical approaches, high-tech concepts, new technological developments, and dynamic decision support systems that contribute to greater flexibility, performance, and accuracy of trains in heterogeneous traffic conditions on railway networks.
