U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Visits Nelt

His Excellency, Christopher R. Hill, U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Visits Nelt’s Distribution and Logistics Center

Yesterday, His Excellency Christopher R. Hill, the U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, visited Nelt’s central distribution and logistics center in Dobanovci, accompanied by his wife and members of the delegation.

Representing Nelt at the meeting were Nebojša Šaponjić, Ranko Sočanac, Luka Šaponjić, Darko Lukić, Bojana Mucić, and Marko Milanković. Darko Lukić, CEO of Nelt Group, provided an overview of the company’s current operations.

Discussions covered the company’s geographic expansion in Europe, planned investments in the upcoming period, corporate social responsibility projects, and the global challenges that Nelt is currently facing.

Ambassador Hill expressed his satisfaction at visiting a Serbian company successfully collaborating with leading American companies such as Mars, PMI, P&G, Kenvue, and others. He highlighted that Nelt’s development in the Adriatic region and its ESG practices serve as a model for sustainable economic growth and alignment with EU standards, towards which Serbia is striving.

Following the meeting, a wine tasting featuring Doba wines was organized for the participants at the new Event Pavilion in Galovica.
