Annual media conference at Nelt

In its jubilee year of operation, Nelt Group achieved a historically highest level of revenue of 1.3 billion euros, as announced at the traditional media conference held today at Nelt’s central logistics and distribution center in Dobanovci.

The media representatives were addressed by Miloš Jelić, Nelt Group CEO, Darko Lukić, Executive Vice-President, and Bojana Mucić, Chief Human Resources Officer.

The main topics elaborated at the conference were the achieved business results, new partnerships and principals with whom cooperation had commenced during the prior eleven months, Nelt’s projects and the strategic initiatives status, pharmaceutical businesses development strategy, as well as plans for the coming year.

Miloš Jelić reflected on Nelt’s successes over the past 30 years through a retrospective of our business. “Whether it’s revenue, number of employees, or clients achieved, throughout all these years, our organization has developed progressively and surpassed set goals”, said Miloš, adding, “For this success, credit is due to our people. Nelt is where it is because of its greatest asset and competitive advantage – human resources.”

Nelt presented to the media the organization’s work in implementing ESG standards and practices through which we strive to make a concrete contribution to the community and the environment, which is not solely economic. Nelt Group currently generates 6.5 MW of electricity from sustainable sources in Serbia and North Macedonia, with plans to increase this by an additional 11 MW, which also includes Montenegro.

Darko Lukić presented the achievements of our business strategy Accelerate 2025, and outlined the focus for the next period – growth and development of the pharmaceutical business, further brand development, and business expansion in the African market.

“In the coming year, we expect an increase in sales and faster revenue growth. If we remain faithful to our strategy, I am confident that we will achieve our goals”, emphasized Darko.

Bojana Mucić highlighted the achievements in the field of human resources. This year, our organization invested 5 million euros in salary increases and opened 264 new job positions. The organizational health of the company was improved, and continuous care for the personal and professional development of each individual was maintained, as always.

“The story of 30 years of Nelt is the story of the people who have created and developed Nelt”, concluded Bojana.
