Nelt Group Goes Live with SAP S/4HANA Simultaneously Across Five Markets

Nelt Group has completed the conversion of its core SAP ECC environment and gone live with the SAP S/4HANA platform within the RISE with SAP Private Cloud model. The transition was carried out simultaneously across five markets – Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Albania.

This is one of the first direct conversions of its kind completed in the region and one of the most complex technology modernization programs in Nelt Group’s history.

The project covered 8 legal entities and included the migration of master and historical data, the adaptation of existing custom developments and the integration of the SAP platform with numerous other business systems.

The transition was preceded by months of preparation, testing and close collaboration between business and IT teams across all markets and the implementation partner. Throughout the transition, continuity of key business operations was maintained with minimal impact on day-to-day work. Orders continued to be processed, goods were delivered, and customers and partners were able to continue their regular business activities with the company.

Milan Bukorović, Chief Technology Officer at Nelt Group, said that the simultaneous transition of five markets to the new platform required detailed preparation and coordination across a large number of teams and people.

SAP S/4HANA serves as Nelt Group’s core technology platform for the next phases of process standardization, improved data management and the development of new business capabilities, in line with Nelt Group’s Ascend 2030 strategy.
