Nelt joins the American Chamber of Commerce in Angola

Nelt Group has officially become a member of AmCham Angola – the American Chamber of Commerce in Angola.

At the official membership reception ceremony, Olga Svoboda, Regional HR Director for Africa at Nelt Group, delivered a presentation on the company’s operations in this market and, on behalf of the Group, received the AmCham Angola membership certificate.

The event was also attended by Pedro Godinho, President of AmCham Angola, Neil Breslin Jr, Executive Director of AmCham Angola, and Iwona Lemos, Executive Secretary of AmCham Angola.

In Angola, Nelt Group also operates through Candy Factory Angola, located in the Luanda Special Economic Zone (ZEE) in Viana, where candies, lollipops, and gummies have been produced since September 2022. The factory, developed in partnership with the local company Oxbow, has an annual production capacity of over 6,700 tons.

Membership in AmCham Angola represents an opportunity to jointly build a stronger business community and for Nelt to further contribute to the development of the FMCG industry in Angola.
