Partnership Agreement Signed

On December 11 in Luanda, an agreement was signed between Nelt Angola and UNICEF, officially marking the start of a new phase of support for young people through the “Desafio Genial – Digital Generation” program. This investment, totaling USD 110,000, will enable the implementation of the program’s third edition.

The partnership agreement was signed in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, participants from previous program cycles, as well as representatives of the Embassy of Serbia.

Boris Mačak, Vice President for African Markets, emphasized the importance of this initiative and its significance for our company after 15 years of operations in Angola.

“We want to provide young people with opportunities that encourage learning, development, and success. Nelt will continue to invest and work with partners so that, together, we can contribute to the progress of children and young people,” Boris said.

Through this initiative, 1,000 young people will have the opportunity to develop digital, entrepreneurial, and 21st-century skills, supported by mentoring and access to innovative tools that help them create solutions to challenges in their communities.

Kristina Brugiolo, UNICEF Representative in Angola, emphasized the importance of the private sector’s role in building stable and resilient communities, noting that investing in young people also contributes to the long-term sustainability of companies in a dynamic global environment.

The cooperation between Nelt Group and UNICEF addresses one of today’s key global challenges: youth unemployment and the urgent need to better align education systems with rapid technological change.
