Ljilja Pižurica won the prestigious award of the Montenegrin Managers Association

At the central ceremony held in Podgorica, annual prizes were awarded to selected laureates who achieved exceptional business results in 2022 which are characterized by growth in employment, investments, income, and profit. The selected business leaders and their companies were also recognized for supporting humanitarian activities, culture, sports, and other forms of socially responsible business, which the Management Board especially appreciated.

The speakers at the ceremony were the newly elected Association President, Jakov Milatović, and the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dr. Dritan Abazović, who also opened the ceremony.

Ljilja Pižurica, Nelt Group executive director for Montenegro and Albania, who received the award of the Manager of the Year prize in the field of corporate governance, said:

“For me, the award is a great confirmation that work and effort are recognized through awards. It is important for everyone to receive a guild award from their peers. Thanks to my team for the joint work. It is a team guided by ethics, knowledge, and professionalism. Thanks also to my more than 5000 colleagues from Nelt, who today diligently perform their jobs and tasks on two continents, in 12 countries, in 18 companies.”

The ceremony also counted with the presence of the Montenegrin Minister of Finance, Aleksandar Damjanović, the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, Goran Đurović, Deputy Mayor of Podgorica, Danilo Saranović, as well as ambassadors and high-ranking representatives of foreign missions in Montenegro: Embassies of the USA, Great Britain, France, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Croatia, China, as well as UNICEF.
