Together for the Future: DTL Representatives Visit Nelt
Strengthening the Partnership Between Nelt Group and the Domestic Trade Chain
Thirty representatives of the Domestic Trade Chain (DTL) visited our company today in Dobanovci. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the partnership and develop plans for future growth.
DTL is an association of domestic retail chains in Serbia, established in early 2011. It brings together 13 retail companies with more than 770 stores and 7,000 employees across the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia.
During the joint meeting, the business results of Nelt Group and our factories—Baby Food Factory, Neoplanta, and Chips Way—were presented, along with an overview of our clients and principals, and the core business principles on which our organization is built. These topics were discussed with members of the Nelt Group Supervisory and Executive Boards, as well as part of the Nelt Serbia management team.
A tour was organized of our distribution center, intermodal terminal, and the Baby Food Factory, where a presentation was given by Marina Bulut, CEO of BFF.
“At Nelt, we believe in long-term partnerships. Over the past years, we have multiplied our total investments in DTL several times. The majority of these investments have been directed straight to the customers—through support in commercial terms and joint field activities. This is no coincidence; it is part of a long-term strategy that enables us to achieve above-average results together,” said Nenad Miščević, Vice President of Nelt for the Serbian market.
The partnership between Nelt and DTL continues to generate above-market growth, and this visit was a valuable opportunity to further optimize our collaboration.
“DTL and Nelt have been building a stable partnership for many years—one that delivers results for both companies. This visit was another chance to talk, hear the latest updates from Nelt, and define concrete next steps in our cooperation,” said Obrad Popović, General Manager of DTL.
The informal part of the visit continued at the Galovica Event Pavilion with lunch and a tasting of DOBA wines.
