Our Baby Food Factory organised an event at the Galovica Event Pavilion to mark one year since launching the CSR initiative “Healthy Nutrition from an Early Age”. Through this initiative, together with the Nutrino brand, the company continues to promote the importance of proper nutrition and adopting healthy habits from an early age.
The event brought together paediatricians from Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the media, retail and pharmacy chains, as well as numerous experts and partners. Their shared goal was to exchange knowledge and experience and open up important conversations about preventing childhood obesity and creating a healthier environment in which children can grow up.
At the beginning of the event, Marko Cilić, CEO of Nelt Group, addressed the guests and highlighted the importance of bringing together expertise, knowledge and concrete action over the long term.
“Baby Food Factory and Nelt Group aspire to develop ‘Healthy Nutrition from an Early Age’ into a long-term platform that brings together knowledge, expertise and concrete action, with the aim of creating a healthier environment for children and future generations,” said Marko Cilić.
The expert discussion “How Can We Act Earlier and More Effectively?”, moderated by Marijana Foerster, Regional Head of Medical & Omnichannel Engagement, addressed the prevention of childhood obesity, the importance of the first 1,000 days of life, early development and nutrition, as well as the role of parents and healthcare professionals in helping children adopt healthy habits.
The discussion featured Dr Dušanka Novosel, paediatric gastroenterologist, Dr Ivan Milovanović, paediatric gastroenterologist, Prof. Dr Aspazija Sofijanova, paediatric neonatologist, Dr Hajrija Maksić, paediatric neonatologist, and Dr Snežana Lešović, paediatric endocrinologist.
The second panel, “How Can We Make Healthier Choices Easier Together?”, moderated by Sandra Radenković, director of agency Labfluence, focused on how expert information can be made clearer and more accessible to parents, as well as on the role of different stakeholders in supporting families in making healthier choices.
Suzana Dunjić, Director of the Ringeraja portal, Dolores Milošev Erdeg, host of the “Zdrava priča Dolores” podcast, Tijana Samardžić, Baby Food Category Manager at Aksa, Jovana Bojović, pharmacist at BENU Pharmacy, and Larisa Stepurina, Medical Director at Baby Food Factory Russia, shared their experiences and perspectives.
Following the panel discussions, the programme continued with a performance by the children’s choir “Čarobna frula”, after which participants had the opportunity to continue networking over cocktails and lunch.
We would like to thank all the speakers, experts and partners for sharing their knowledge, experience and valuable perspectives.
We will continue connecting the professional community, parents and partners to contribute to healthier childhoods through shared knowledge and concrete action.
