“Ascend 2030” delivers significant results, with more than €30 million in investments realized

At the traditional annual press conference held today at the Metropol Hotel in Belgrade, Nelt Group presented its 2025 business results, the investments realized to date, as well as the company’s new mission and vision.

Speakers included Darko Lukić, CEO of Nelt Group, Goran Cerovina, Vice President for the Adria markets, Nenad Miščević, Vice President for the Serbian market, Sonja Todorova, Vice President for Nelt-owned brands, and Bojana Mucić, Chief Human Resources Officer of Nelt Group.

The conference highlighted that the Group achieved revenues exceeding €1.5 billion, marking an increase of more than 9% compared to 2024. Consistent growth was recorded across all markets: over €1 billion in Serbia, more than €400 million in the Adria region, and €60 million in African markets.

“Despite external challenges, at the Group level we achieved consolidated revenue growth of 9% compared to 2024. In line with the ‘Ascend 2030’ strategy, we remain committed to our vision and mission – to create an efficient and sustainable ecosystem that connects people and brands through excellence in distribution, reliable logistics, and brand management expertise,” said Darko Lukić.

It was also highlighted at the conference that, within the new strategic cycle “Ascend 2030,” the company has realized approximately €30 million in investments aimed at modernizing warehousing and logistics infrastructure, increasing production capacities, and advancing the digital transformation of key processes.

“The Serbian market has recorded significant growth of 7% this year. Additionally, according to the SeeNews ranking, Nelt Co has once again been included in the SEE TOP 100 list of the largest companies in Southeast Europe for 2024, as the only domestically owned private company,” said Nenad Miščević, Vice President for the Serbian market.

Goran Cerovina, Vice President for the Adria markets, emphasized that through investments, new partnerships, and entering the Romanian market, the company secured outstanding results across the Adria region.

“An average annual growth rate of 16% in the Adria region, compared to around 9% at the Nelt Group level, further confirms that market integration is working, that synergy delivers results, and that Adria is becoming one of the key pillars of Nelt Group,” he said.

Our companies Baby Food Factory, Neoplanta, and Chips Way recorded strong growth of their brands, further strengthening their leadership positions within their respective categories.

“Despite challenges and significant external pressures, we managed to find a path to growth. This is the result of determination, agility, and the exceptional commitment of our teams across the factories,” said Sonja Todorova, Vice President for Nelt-owned brands.

In 2025, at the Group level, €6 million was invested in employee salary increases, €1.5 million in employee benefits, and more than 5,500 hours were dedicated to leadership development and competency enhancement.

“Over the past year, we made substantial investments in our people. We are a dynamic organization, as demonstrated by more than 600 internal movements. We also see an increasing number of women in managerial positions, which is not common in our peer industries, and we are very proud of that,” said Bojana Mucić, Chief Human Resources Officer.

Investments in our employees, portfolio innovation, technology, and strong brand management remain the key strategic pillars of our development.

The conference concluded with a Q&A session during which media representatives addressed their questions to Nelt’s leadership.
