Suzana Sikimić is the best CFO in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Deloitte chose the best financial director in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the winner and CFO of the year is our colleague Suzana Sikimić, finance manager for the markets of Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Albania.

The title CFO of the Year is awarded for the achievements and projects that the CFO leads within the finance function and is measured by the results that the company achieves based on those activities.

An expert committee chose the COF of the year, using qualitative and quantitative measures. In other words, they based their decision on the application questionnaire and the publicly available financial reports for 2021 of the company in which the CFO works. The expert committee consisted of Maid Jabandžić (MADI d.o.o.), Prof. Dr. Jasmina Selimović (Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo), Prof. Dr. Jelena Poljašević (Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka), Tamir Mostarac (EBRD), and Sabina Softić (Deloitte Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Suzana Sikimić said that recognizing the importance of these events raises awareness of the role of finance functions and the people who manage them. “It is an exceptional honor to be part of the project and a great opportunity to expand cooperation, exchange experiences and good practices, and create new trends through the synergy of people gathered around the same goal.” This achievement is not personal, but a recognition of all the teams I work with, which are decorated with a winning mentality. The recognition of our qualities is another motivator for our further growth and development, all in line with our Accelerete 2025 strategy.”

The award ceremony was organized on March 21 in our company’s premises, and in addition to the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to tour our premises, including a tour of the storage facilities.
