Nelt hosts the first meeting of the AHK Committee for Green Economy and Sustainable Business

On Monday, May 29, Nelt hosted the first meeting of the Committee for Green Economy and Sustainable Business of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce attended by 40 representatives of member companies.

The attendees were addressed by Miloš Jelić, the Nelt Group CEO, who presented Nelt’s initiatives concerning sustainable business and wished the participants a pleasant meeting and fruitful cooperation that will contribute to the achievement of common goals. The executive member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Alexander Markus, presented the concept of the Board and the agreed structure, goals and activities to be implemented.

Ivan Smiljković, a ProCredit Bank Serbia executive member of the Board of Directors, was appointed the chairman at the meeting while Nelt Group’s expert in sustainable business, Nada Stamatović, was appointed his deputy. They will play a key role in leading the Committee and in achieving its goals.

This meeting represents an important step in promoting sustainable business and developing the green economy in Serbia. The Committee for Green Economy and Sustainable Business of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce is expected to play an active role in raising awareness about the importance of sustainability among the members of the Chamber and encourage the application of environmental principles in business.
