In cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a visit of participants of the Leader Roots program to Nelt was organized. The event was held yesterday at the premises of our company in East Sarajevo.

The topic of the eighth masterclass in a row was “Building a Leadership Career – Firsthand Lessons”, as part of which Dragana Kajkut, Finance Manager, Edin Karahmet, Logistics Manager and Mirsad Bektasevic, Sales Manager, spoke about their career and leadership paths. The opening address was given by Goran Cerovina, Executive Director of Nelt Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Suzana Sikimic, Regional Head of Finance, presented the company, its development path and the manner in which it had transformed over the years.

During the warehouse tour, young leaders were acquainted with our warehouse processes, from the moment of arrival of product at Nelt, through packaging, sorting, logistics and finally, distribution itself.

At the end, participants took part in a Situational Leadership workshop, where they engaged in an interactive exercise to analyze in more detail four different leadership styles, thereby fostering deeper understanding and application of leadership approaches in various situations.

To refresh your memory, the “Amcham – Leader Roots” program was designed as a multi-month program, which is conceived to provide AmCham Bosnia and Herzegovina members the opportunity to nominate their top managers, outstanding individuals with pronounced ethical qualities, proactive employees, and talents, as well as those they believe will be future leaders of these organizations, to undergo training and additional motivation through a set of modules, lessons, and tasks. The primary goal of the program is to change the mindset of individuals, encouraging them to develop leadership instead of just managerial skills.
