Accelerate business with data & analytics

This event, dedicated to our customers and business partners, aims to strengthen cooperation and present good practices, as well as to foster mutual exchange of knowledge and experience.

In the opening address, our business partners were greeted by Miloš Jelić, Nelt Group CEO.

In the first part of the event, Microsoft’s Miloš Drače, Akinon’s Altan Atabarut, and Biljana Atanasković, Nelt Group Data Management and Reporting Manager addressed the guests. They spoke about the importance of data and the way it is used to develop companies, about changes in the supply chain that digitization has launched, as well as the importance of digital strategy and proper data management.

Miloš Drača presented examples of good practices and successful digital projects Microsoft is engaged in. “It is guaranteed that the democratization of data, support of the top management, innovative partnerships, and faith in the power of data take a company to success,” he said.

Altan Atabarut spoke about novelties in the supply chain, factors influencing its transformation, and how companies are transforming digitally and monetizing the current market trends. At the end of the presentation, he called on everyone to cooperate in the exchange of data, its interpretation, and its use in an optimal way.

Our colleague, Biljana Atanasković, spoke about Nelt’s digital strategy, how we manage data, the cloud architecture, where data is stored, the automatic reporting we have introduced, and the way we analyze data. “Integrated access to data and its analysis is very important. Remember that the data quality affects the quality of business decisions,” Biljana pointed out and added, “I am proud to see that my colleagues at Nelt treat the data as the strategic property of the company.”

The panel discussion “Data, Analytics, and Education” followed, and it was moderated by Milan Bukorović, the Nelt Group IT Executive Director. The participants were Miloš Drača, Altan Atabarut, Darko Lukić, and Aleksandar Mastilović, representative of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. They discussed the influence of artificial intelligence on the development of new jobs, changing the way of doing business, the current human resource deficit, and skills that new technologies require us to adopt. At the end of the panel discussion, Darko Lukić called on all for cooperation in the exchange of data and the development of analytics. “We achieve together more than each of us individually, together we win and we can overcome all challenges that are before us,” Darko concluded.

In line with the topic of the event – business results, digital initiatives, and strategies – Miloš Jelić, Darko Lukić, and Marko Cilić spoke on behalf of our company. They presented the development plans for all three pillars of our business, ways of improving cooperation with existing partners, as well as expanding business into new markets.

The key operating parameters in our companies Neoplanta and Baby Food Factory were presented by their CEOs Aco Tomašević and Nenad Nikolovski. Nenad showed new nutrino products from the oat line and emphasized: “We are trying to further develop our brand and new products in the coming year, according to the highest food production standards for all generations.”

Aco Tomašević said that the focus of Neoplanta will remain on the development of the highest quality products, as well as improving the recipes and strengthening the company’s brand.

Nelt Customer Day ended with key messages that Miloš Jelić passed on to our buyers and partners: “I invite you to continue building our ecosystem with digitization and automation, to encourage and develop each other and meet common goals in our value chain.”

After the formal part, guests enjoyed the cocktail party.
